He spends an enormous amount of time in the field, both in Canada and the United States. He films each of his hunting outings, often self-filming, to share on his YouTube channel. In January 2022, he launched his company HUNT NORTH, whose mission is to develop high-quality hunting accessories.

Mario Huot, ce sympathique et charismatique Beauceron est un chasseur professionnel de calibre mondial, un des seuls chasseur Québécois ayant chassé sur les 5 continents. 

Ayant plusieurs cordes à son arc dont des talents de chasseur, guide, conférencier, fondateur du magazine Aventures Chasse Pêche, chroniqueur dans le magazine Sentier Chasse pêche, caméraman, producteur de films. Mario a été nommé en 2014, expert attitré de chasse pour le Gouvernement du Québec en Cour Fédérale. 

Il est l’animateur principale de la série télé Aventures Express.TV., influenceur, consultant de chasse et pêche pour Aventuresexpress.com. Le dernier de Mohican connaît bien les territoires de chasse de l’Afrique à l’Asie en passant par l’Europe et l’Océanie sans oublier les Amériques.

Max is constantly trying to develop new methods and techniques to harvest more birds. No matter the weather or how the birds are behaving, it's always a good investment to share some time in the blind with him.

Hi! My name is Philippe and I'm a big fan of the outdoors and cooking. For my blog Prise du Jour, I decided to combine my two passions by offering creative recipes based mainly on ingredients sourced from the wild. However, I wanted to go even further by offering ingredient substitution tips in each recipe so that those who don't hunt can still enjoy them. The substitutions are also suggestions for ingredients you can “catch” at your grocery store when you return from an unsuccessful hunt or fishing trip.

Since childhood, I have always been passionate about cooking and fishing. I owe this passion to my family, who integrated these two elements into my upbringing. After finishing my career as a college swimmer, I started hunting and gathering wild foods. These activities make me feel more involved in the preparation of my daily meals.

Outside of this blog, I am a civil engineer pursuing a PhD at the University of Ottawa. Although I no longer swim, I am a fan of all sports and choose to eat a natural diet to maximize my health.
